Thank you for your interest in BEHN gallery!
BEHN gallery is a non-traditional fine arts gallery where you can embrace and engage fine art through events, education, and purchasing exclusive fine art pieces that will invigorate your spaces and make a statement about the feelings and experiences that are important to you.
Behn is unique gallery environment with a mission to create connections through art. Part of this mission includes not only selling original fine art, but also guiding our buyers through a process that helps them find the "right" piece of art.
Everyone connects differently, so it takes conversation, visualization and a comfortable environment to navigate the path of what is right for you. We aim to help you down that path.
Our process of helping you find your connection is offered in a few different ways.
1. Fine Art Sales and Private Art Consultations:
It's okay to know you want art that means something to you, but not know what that looks like. We believe art is for everyone and that all people can find that connection. We further believe that when you do take the time to invest in the right art, it can provide you experiences daily that will grow with you. Just like a good friendship, the right artwork evolves with time growing deeper and deeper bonds.
2. Events and Education:
From our casual 1st Fridays to interesting themed events to demonstrations, workshops, and collaborations with other artists, we aim to help you connect not only to finished artwork, but the part that fuels all creative inspiration, the creative process. We want you to have the chance to be part of the creative process and learn through direct and/or indirect interactions. Our events provide a safe and comfortable environment that will make you know you belong. Art is for everyone regardless of how much you do or don't know about it. We're here to help facilitate and nurture your relationship with art and meet you at a place that feels right for you.
3. Travel:
We all want to see the world for it's beauty and interest. The culture, the feeling, the food, the art, the music...all of it. Travel is deeply connected through art in that, when done right, creates a multi-sensory experience that transforms us. Jim and Roben guide a few small group trips each year that provide photography education for those who have that interest, but also provide a well planned experience. Many tours are extremely regimented and stick to the "expected" path. Although we feel there are some iconic places you have to see, as photographers, we are also looking for beauty off the beaten path and offer to take our groups with us. Even for those who don't come with the intention of learning photography, an interest often buds through osmosis. In addition to a couple of planned trips each year, we also book private tours, so if you have a small group who you'd like to bond with through a guided trip, reach out and set up a time to discuss.
4. Private Events:
Looking for a special private event space to foster relationships and growth? What better place than right here at Behn gallery. We rent our space for groups up to 30 and can work with your vendors to coordinate the perfect event for the special relationships and events in your personal life. Whether for a work holiday party or a special anniversary dinner with friends and family, Behn can help you build memories and grow relationships.
Feel free to reach out and contact us using our CONTACT FORM, through our social media platforms, or by calling or texting Roben Bellomo, co-owner and resident artist, at (619) 569-6709 with any questions along the way.

Sincerely,
Roben Bellomo and Jim Hamel, co-owners and fine artists at BEHN gallery.
The Village of West Clay
BEHN gallery is located in the heart of the Village of West Clay directly across from the community green space. BEHN chose the Village of West Clay because it was important for us to be engrained in a community. Our art is far beyond providing beautiful imagery to create and enhance experiences, it's about providing an environment for our community members, collectors, fans, and friends to engage and exercise their creativity and connection to the world we live in and humanity around the globe.
